Hi sir/madam my wife suffer with pcod recently me and my wife consult gynecologist primarily they are prescribed hormonal balanced medications. I already completed 3 f/u visits but now gynecologist prescribed a contraceptive (levonorgestrel and ehynyeloesteridol i.p)drugs but we are plan for pregnancy why they are prescribed I don't know could you please suggest whether we have to use that tablets or avoid it?

Oral contraceptives help to regularise periods, but if you are keen on pregnancy now, you could ask your gynecologist to prescribe medicines for induction of ovulation.
