Hi i've l4-l5 & l5-s1 disc herniation & I have done microdiscectomy in 2011 at l5-s1 level but the problem reoccurred. Now I am doing acupuncture treatment for the last 3 months because I was having pain in my hip & leg & I am not able to stand or walk for more than 5 minutes. The doctor has prescribed me mecobal injection of 1500 mcg on alternate days & protedac & d3 injections weekly. I want to confirm whether this may improve my health or else it will worsen my situation that is, is it safe to take these injections? Further, I am taking tablets of pregalin nt & mecobal 1500 mcg on daily basis at night & some pain relieving pills twice a day. Please suggest some better treatment ways to overcome my pain because I am doing a private job & from the last 3 months I'm bedridden taking acupuncture treatment on daily basis. I'm officially, personally, and socially very much disturbed. Please help.
