Hi Dr. I had taken hepatitis b vaccine in childhood when I was 9-10 years old in 2002 and now I will be 30 years in few months. As far I remember my parents got me 2 doses of hepatitis b vaccine from our family doctor in his clinic. Should I need to take hepatitis b vaccine? I am protected from hepatitis.

Most people who are vaccinated with hepatitis b vaccine are immune for life. Hepatitis b vaccine is usually given as 2, 3, or 4 shots. Infants should get their first dose of hepatitis b vaccine at birth and will usually complete the series at 6?18 months of age.
