I am 13 weeks pregnant and I am going for a work as a receptionist ,i had nt scan at 13 weeks and the report says I having low lying placenta is 1.3 cm away from internal os .my doctor told me to take some rest and do not lift weight and bend .if I having low lying placenta can I go for a work? In the work place sitting for too long is ok o what ?or do I need to quit my job and rest?

Working or not working does not change position of placenta and outcome, so work. Rest does not change also so no need for rest. Later with growth of different areas of uterus one may find position different. Most important if get bleeding must go to gynecologist immediately.
