Sir today morning I spit some cough then some blood come with cough 2-3 times I spit blood comes but when I drink water and after that spit no blood come .what is this? Is it cancer?

Dear Lybrate user, spitting blood on coughing need not be cancer always---eventhough cancer is one of the causes// pulmonary tb is another cause of spitting blood after cough// there are so many common causes like bleeding from any part of the respiratory tract during continuous forceful coughing ; due to many infections of respiratory tract-etc. // kindly have a check-up with a chest physician at the earliest --be confident and optimistic--you will get relief of your problem --by treatment from a chest physician ----ok.
