I started to have heart palpitations and I went for a check up. I was told that I might have a heart disease, the doctor listened to my heartbeat with a stethoscope and said that he is hearing a heart murmur. A chest exray was done and it was normal, a blood homogram was done it was okay, an ecg was done and it was normal and also asort titres was done and it was not normal. The doctor told me that I might have a rheumatic heart disease and he told me to consult a physician and do an echo as soon as possible, he prescribed benzathine penicillin injection on a monthly basis and cardisprin. The palpitations continued and I couldn't even sleep, I felt like my heart was bursting. Finally I went to see a physician with all the supporting documents from the hospital, he examined me and and went through the documents and rubbished the claims that I had a heart condition, he told me that asort titres cannot only be used to determine if a person has rheumatic heart disease, he challenged me by saying that everybody has a sore throat and it does not mean that everybody who has a sore throat has a rheumatic heart disease, he told me that I had anxiety and panic attacks he prescribed some medicine for me. 6 months passed without the palpitations going away, I was also having pud during that time, I got sick again now with a severe stomachache, the palpitations never disappeared. An abdominal scan was done and it was concluded that I had acute appendicitis, the appendix was noted and non compressible with me reacting with pain and it was measuring 1.1 cm in its transverse diameter with no free peri - appendicular fluid seen, it also had the bull's eye with increase in vascularity on doppler mode" I started to have heart palpitations and I went for a check up. I feel a pumping and bounding pulsation in my stomach, I don't know if it is connected with the palpitations, somehow I don't feel the palpitations, I don't know if it is the palpitations. I feel or the pulse in my stomach. I would like to know if my palpitations were connected with appendicitis cause I don't feel them often as back then before I was diagnosed with acute appendicitis.
