Hi , clotrimazole and fluconazole will act on the ring worm and they will stop the reappearance. It is the betamethasone, which is a steroid, that causes the reappearance. What it does is, it temporarily relieves the symptoms and symptoms only but doesn't cure. So the disease remains inside the body. When you apply betamethasone, it temporarily relieves giving you the feeling that it has gone but as soon as you stop the application, the latent disease that is inside the body shows up again. , clotrimazole

Firstly you should try to keep all your affected areas as dry as possible, because moisture and wet areas favour growth of fungi. Main cause for recurrence of fungal infection could be use of steroid creams such as betamethasone. Steroids cause increase in fungal infection and they should be strictly avoided. Instead try sebifin cream twice daily for 2 weeks along with tab fluconazole 150 mg. For detailed management kindly visit me at private consultation.
