I recently caught covid. And about four days ago I started to get heart palpitations and started getting fatigued and sweating a little more then usual. Went to the Dr. today and they did many test. And they said that my lungs are inflamed. Can inflammation in the lungs cause heart palpitations or any of the other symptoms I have? Im worried. They didn't prescribe me anything. They told me to make an appointment with my primary care Dr. Can lung nodules cause heart palpitations?

Yes----lung problems --causes decrease in oxygen exchnge to blood at alveoli----then --as automatic adjustment of body ----heart beats quickly---that ---you are feeling---and --it is called palpitation -----ok.

Lung nodules need not necessarily cause palpitations. Palpitations will be usually due to psychological issues.
