In the past year, as I was suffering from heartburns on regular basis (sometimes serious heartburn) I decided to consult a doctor. I was diagnosed with chronic gastritis and he prescribed me sompraz d 40 for 1 month, additionally he told me to reduce spicy foods. I did all that and I was feeling normal, but after the duration of medication (1 month and 5 days, 1 in the morning and 1 in the evening) the symptoms came back and that too with the same seriousness. The heartburns are painful and sometimes unbearable. When I can not bear the pain I take the sompraz d 40 tablets again (1 in the morning for 2 or 3 days) and I get relief for some days, after that its back to getting heartburns.
