I had a dry nose bleed about two weeks back and even today the same thing happened. Its not a lot of blood, but when I spit after it there are specs of blood in my phlegm. Is this a reason to worry. The weather is very dry. Also I have a tendency to pick my nose a lot.

Hello Pallavi, It is common to get bleeding because of dryness of the nose. The most effective way to get rid of it is by applying some Ghee or coconut oil on the inner skin of your nose. You have to apply it atleast twice a day to see noticeable difference. Other than that, if you get bleeding from the nose, sit on a chair with your head bent forward a bit, pinch your nose hard with your index finger and thumb. Sit like that for two to three minutes and breathe through your mouth. This process will stop the bleeding.
