I was tested positive for anti chlamydia antibody igm on 04-jul-2021 and was advised to take (doxy-1l) doxycycline 100 mg twice a day for 14 days. I finished antibiotic course on 19-jul-2021 and have no symptoms now. 1.61 - e.l.i.s.a - 04 jul 2021 1.62 - e.l.i.s.a - 20 jul 2021 1.67 - e.l.i.s.a - 31 aug 2021 negative: below 0.9 equivocal: 0.9 - 1.1 positive: above 1.1 how long my igm will stay positive after treatment? Should I take any other test? Or take any other treatment?

IgM antibodies may remain detectable for 2-4 months (or longer) following disease resolution; therefore, a positive IgM result may not necessarily indicate 'acute' infection and additional testing (e.g., IgG testing) may be necessary to interpret results. Reinfections are characterized by an increase in the IgA and/or IgG titer in the absence of an IgM response.
