When I was pregnant and in my ninth month, the doctor had done my pv examination and asked me to get admitted they had also induced me with medicine internally to give me artificial pains and again in between they had done pv examination but I did not had any pains so they asked me to go for cesarian. So during the last and the second last time when they did my pv examination red spots with discharge was found and had a foul smell. Is this a matter of concern now as iv heard this is a matter of cancer and must get done pap smear test. Five years are over with my delivery I found no discharge of this kind only during my last days of pregnancy. Please help.

Not specially because of your complaints but every woman till age 65 should get Pap's smear done every 3 years.

It's possible that you had some vaginal infection at that time to account for the foul smell. However, Pap smear is advisable at least once yearly as part of reproductive health check up
