My mother's left leg and ankle are very swollen, more swollen than the right one. Her hands, fingers and palm are also swollen. She's a patient of arthritis, spondylosis and cervical radiculopathy. Could these be the causes? Note- her lft is normal, only serum alp and serum globulin� are slightly elevated by around 40 and 1.2 units respectively. Her kft, cbc, blood sugar, chest x ray, ecg and abdominal usg all are normal. Also, she had perianal abscess and fistula that was operated on july 12. Medicines she's currently taking- boostim lb, nexpro l, saril, health ok, dolomax rapid, gudlax plus, signoflam, carnifast and tapal er. She got her kft tested on 30 june ie almost 2 weeks back (which was normal, creatinine was 0.90). Should she repeat the test?
