I am aged 36 years. I have a girl baby aged 10 years. Usually I have regular periods. I do not have any issue in that. For the last 2-3 months, I missed to note my period date and I am not sure whether menses happened or not. Suddenly I have periods in less level from 2 days back (not required a pad. Scan done and endometrium thickness is 19. 1 mm as of 25/6/2021. Whereas I took master health check up on 28/9/2020 and at that time, my endometrium thickness is 8.3 mm.why this sudden increase in endometrium thickness. I am not pregnant. How to proceed further? Is anything need to worry about endometrial hyperplasia. Now I am taking medicine for getting periods.

Hello, the next best thing to do is to get an endometrial biopsy done to rule out endometrial hyperplasia with or without atypia. Post biopsy you can be offered a withdrawal bleed with progesterones.
