Two and a half months ago I fell off a table and got hurt by a wood or glass (don't remember exactly) on my toe. The wound has recovered but when I press the area it pains. Why is this happening and what can I do? Is there a splinter still inside?

I am sorry to hear about your concern but will be happy to assist you. In the early stages, scar tissue isn't always painful. This is because nerves in the area may have been destroyed along with healthy body tissues. But over time, scar tissue may become painful as nerve endings regenerate. Scar tissue can also become painful over the course of an internal disease. Let's connect over a call so that we can discuss your concern in details and make a suitable treatment plan for you.
