Since one year I have persistent low grade fever between 98.8- 99.4 f. It stays for few days then goes away. Then it happens suddenly then goes. I have got a cbc done recently. I am having low haemoglobin, mcv and mch. Haemoglobin is 11.70, mcv - 71.30,mch - 22. 50. Rbc count is 5.18 and rdw is 16.90. Lymphocytes are 40.50. Last year also the levels were almost same. Should I start any medication? What does it mean? Is there something serious. Please advise. Rn also i'm having 99.2 f.

It’s perfectly alright. Nothing to worry ritika. Just monitor your body temperature, if it persists for 99+ for more than 5 days along with other symptoms of covid, then just get tested once. There is no harm in getting tested. You can consult me at Lybrate or at mobile.
