Dear sir, oral cavity mean oral part of tongue, floor of mouth, buccal mucosa, hard palate etc. They are primarily treated by surgery. Further they may be given radiation therapy, chemotherapy etc depending on histopathological reports. Cure rates depends on initial stage of presentation, earlier the disease better are the cure rates. Chemotherapy are the medicine given either intravenously or orally used to kill cancer cells.
