Dear Amrita, it seems you mean blockage on leftside arteries of heart. Its true that percentage of block assesed by visual inspection will vary if you show to different doctors. Its not exact. But whether its signoficant blockage or not can be told. For example 80% or 90% both will require angioplasty. If the block is in 50 to 70% range, or what we call as intermediate lesion, then we do a test called FFR, which will determine if a block needs angioplasty or can be managed medically. I hope your doctors might have explained in details. Thank you.
