Hi, I guess I am having an anal fissure as its painful during bowel movement. Post that there is minor burning sensation which lasts for 6-7 hours and then it gets alright. This happens only after bowel movement. Is there any tablet you prescribe for softening stool?

Only stool softener may not help you alone. Please get proper treatment from a gastro or general surgeon for proper medication. Meanwhile, avoid spicy food, hard drinks, high fibrous diet, plenty of water, seize bath with betadine solution.
