Sir/mam I had unprotected relations with my partner on 16th march21 (we didn't have penetrative intercourse nor did he ejaculate anywhere near my private parts, but he put his penis inside me for a few seconds long before ejaculation) and took an ipill on 18th march within 50 hours. However, after a week I am having tender breast with two visible veins on one side, very mild stomach and back at times. Is this normal side effect or do I have a chance of pregnancy? I would be highly obliged if anyone would help me out. I had my last normal period on 4 th march21.

I am sorry to hear about your concern but will be happy to assist you. I-pill has a good success rate when taken within the stipulated time. Still, like with any other type of contraception, there is a slight chance of failure with the i-pill too. So, it is still necessary to consult a doctor for a follow up three weeks after taking i-pill to rule out a pregnancy, both uterine and in the tube. Let's connect over a call so that we can discuss your concern in details and make a suitable treatment plan for you.
