My daughter is going through a breakup. The relationship wasn't long it started on 23rd Feb itself. The fact that she broke up was no future. As she is into this thought that if she wants to get in a relationship then it is supposed to be a forever kind but this guy told her in the very first place that future isn't possible as his parents won't agree and she understands that too but she is an emotional kind a girl thus in pain right now. Though deep down she knows that she didn't loved him as love and like is diff. But she is under the illusion that he was the guy as he was exactly what she always wanted in a guy. Suggest something so that she starts being happy all over again.

Dear maam it's totally ok for your daughter to be sad after a breakup. You should speak to her and share your own bad experiences if any. More you talk about the problem the better she would feel and please teach her that life is so much more than just love and relationships. You guys should go out for a vacation and it would be the best solution anyone can suggest. (if you like my answer you can just tell me on private conversation that I was helpful)
