When it pains, u should not continue walking. It will put more pressure on knee. Go for treatments like janu vasti, which will keep the knee joint allright.

Hi Persistent pain can indicate some degree of degeneration happening in a joint. You should continue to walk, do regular physical therapy and maybe a short course of anti-inflammatory medication should help.
