Good day my son has a confirmed uti he is 23 years old. He says its not painful but he has a very weird uncomfortable feeling just below the navel and under the skin. He complained about a sensitive feeling on the skin around the bladder and navel area. The urine is n cloudy color wit an odor. Hes been having this for about 2 weeks now saw a Dr. on 8/12/20. The Dr. prescribed penicillin for 5 days. The meds are finished and problem is still occurring. Please help he's never been sick. He smokes 8-10 cigarettes a day and also cannabis.

Dear lybrate-user, penicillin does not work against a uti. Do you have the report of the urine culture? Could you specify the type of organism that was mentioned? He has to remain hydrated.
