Sir, yesterday I stepped on a roadside nail. It was very rusty. Some blood also came from the puncture wound due to nail. I quickly came home washed it with watter and applied dettol on the wound site. After that I got a tetanus shot. My question is do I need to take anti rabies vaccine too. I doubt if a dog has licked the nail maybe the nail might have got infected. Pls answer it.

No it does not work that way. A tetanus shot will do. The Rabies virus does not act in the same manner as tetanus. So you don't have to worry about it. If you found my answer helpful, please leave a like/ thanks. Thank you.
