Dear Lybrateuser, - Following measures can be taken for your problem: - take warm fluids only including water, tea, coffee, soup, avoid all cold fluids & refrigerated foods - do steam inhalation twice a day - do warm salt water gargles three times a day - take syrup Zedex, 10 ml three times a day after meals -avoid exposure to cold, dust, smoke - keep well hydrated - if not much improvement in 2-3 days then get checked by a local doctor.
