I am getting frequent urge to urinate and during night the situation aggravates. I feel like I have hold up and feels like there is something in urethra and bladder is not completely empty. In last few day it pains in my abdomen in left side. It feels stiff and not relaxed. One doctor recommended me alfuzosin and potassium citrate. Should I take it or ho see a doctor in person?

You definitely need to visit urologist to rule out whether it is bladder outlet obstruction with or without overactive bladder. You will need to get ultrasound kub with postvoid and urine routine analysis done. Detailed history and examination will be helpful.
