I brush my teeth twice a day and floss them at night. Yesterday while flossing my lower front teeth. A part got chipped of. It was brittle and was brownish. I am scared whether part of my tooth chipped off. Can someone please advise what it was? As there is a lockdown I can't even go to dentist.

The part that chipped off can be calculus also which is an abnormal deposit in teeth but we need to see it to actually judge whether it is a tooth fragment or calculus. You can send me the pic of just that area to get a better opinion. You can use code sg38f5 for the same.

Hey you need to see the shape of your adjacent teeth and compare if all the walls of tooth are intact it will be a calculus deposit which might have chipped off and that not a issue get a cleaning done once clinics are open if tooth is fractured than filling will be needed thanks.
