I am 70+ and finding difficulty in passing urine since morning (past 8 hours.) there is mild pain in groin area while urinating. Urine colour is clear and no bad smell. So far no fever either. Is there any home remedy as don't want to take risk of going out to hospital. Please advise urgently.

Hello sir, it appears that you have developed urinary retention. It may be due to enlarged prostate or bladder calculi. Pain may be relieved temporarily by placing a warm water bag over the abdomen. However it's best that you go to any nearest hospital or clinic with due precautions to find out the cause of retention and its treatment.
