Hi, my father has been having tingling sensation in his right side sole of the feet from past 3-4 months. The feeling of that sensation as per his description is like ants crawling in his feet and severity of that is around 5-8 where 1 is minimum and 10 is maximum. Because of that sensation he is not able to sleep at night. We consulted neurologist but they were not able to proper diagnose the cause. She only mentioned that it is" idiopathic small fiber" Dr. Prescribed pregabalin but seems not helping at all. Recently he is been started acting weird and seems like he is in big time depression. He acts crazy. Please help. Is there any way someone can treat him and give him the right drug. He is also having pain in his back and if you rub that part of the back the sensation increase in his sole feet. I thank in advance and hoping a quick reply.
