Hello! i'm a male who've just started using minoxidil foam to treat hairloss. I have a 2 year-old son and my question is this: can my usage of minoxidil lead to my son being exposed to the medication and would that be harmful in the long run? Or is it in such a miniscule amount that it doesn't have any affect at all? I'm not talking him handling the medication but if it can be transmitted to him via me. As of right now I work from home and I apply it at the morning and wash it off before my son comes home from kindergarten. So he isn't being exposed to it at all. But what if I was to apply it in the evening and sleep with it. I'm sure some of it would rub off on my pillow. If my son where to put his head on that pillow in the morning would that be such an insignificant amount of exposure that it doesn't have any effect or would it be potentially harmful? I've read horror stories of children swallowing minoxidil and the results from that, thus my concern.
