Anterior fontanelle normally get closed at the age of 12-18 months. May be delayed in certain nutritional or medical conditions. Som eof the symptoms in infancy are dull white eyes, constipation, cold skin, excessive sleep, less active, wait gain may be later symptom. Family history of hypothyroid. Always to be confirmed by blood test, all these symptoms may also be found in other disorders.
