Hello sir / madam I have done root canal for my broken teeth before years and I have put a cap for that tooth now that cap got discoloured I have no pain or any problem in the tooth but I want to change the cap. My question is will they put injection while removing the cap or while putting a new cap?

Usually if rct has been done you may not require any injections while removing or changing cap.

Depends. If crown or cap can easily come out. No local anaesthesia is required.

Hello. No. The old cap can be removed in a flick by your dentist without giving anaesthesia/ injection. And a new cap will be placed in its place without injection and very easily. Its not a painful procedure. So, don't worry and go ahead with the procedure. Hope this helps. Take care.
