I'm having a sharp needle like pain in my chest suddenly sometimes and last night it hurts so much that my body is numb. But it went away for a few minutes but it came again after 3 hours. Can it be precordial catch syndrome or another one?

The pain is usually a stabbing or needle-like sensation right in the middle of your chest. The most common causes of pleuritic chest pain are bacterial or viral infections, pulmonary embolism, and pneumothorax. Let's have a detailed discussion for better advice and medication plan.
