My son has been suffering from dry cough for last two months and the peculiarity of the coughing is that it starts every day in the evening and gets relieved when he fell asleep at night. Prior to that he had suffered from frequent sneezing. As per doctor advice he has been taking l-montus tablet one before bed for last 45 days. He had also taken the course of azithral 500 for five days one month back. Despite the above treatment there is hardly any improvement. It is worthwhile to mention here that prior to joining his new service in october 2019 he was advised to undergo chest x-ray as a part of mandatory pre joining medical exam. And report of the said xray revealed normal. I shall be highly obliged if you kindly help me with medical advice in this regard.
