I am 21 years old, my hair started falling when I was 19. I went to a doctor and he gave a couple of tests, after the test results he prescribed minoxidil 5%, biotin, and a shampoo. But my hair was falling anyway, and once I stopped using minoxidil after using for 6-7 months, my hair-fall started massively. I have a visibly bald spot in my crown area and in front and the hair is completely thinned out. I have also tried natural treatments like the onion oil and some others, nothing seems to work anymore and this is affecting me mentally. If I start taking finasteride, will I see positive changes? If not what else should I do?
