For the past 10 days, I have been having whooshing/wind blowing/light thunder type sounds in my ears. A lot of it is in sync with my heartbeat or throbbing. Usually, it happens more when I bend or move around. I visited a doctor who told me it was because of wax, he took the wax out and also putting me on antibiotics. No improvement. Do you think it could be something to worry about? In the current covid situation, access to hospitals it slightly tougher and riskier. I also do not have hearing loss (not that I have clearly noticed) or any balance issues. Little bit dizzy at times but very manageable. I am asthmatic so I use an inhaler and also take sos medicines for anxiety sometimes.

Tinnitus is the medical term for "hearing" noises in your ears. It occurs when there is no outside source of the sounds. Tinnitus is often called "ringing in the ears." It may also sound like blowing, roaring, buzzing, hissing, humming, whistling, or sizzling. The noises heard can be soft or loud. Let's have a detailed discussion for better advice and medication plan.
