What if I lose about 50lb in 3 months (5 days fasting, 5 days not fasting but walking and this over the whole 3 months), as an 18 year old (164 cm tall, never smoked, never drank alcohol, not having sun damage, only a little bit of stretch marks), weighing (before the weight loss) 155lb. I just want to know if your skin will tighten after the weight loss. Online people tell you that you shouldn't lose weight rapidly because you will get loose skin. But does it actually matter? Does your skin tighten even if you already got some loose skin? Or does it jus stop? I really need to know this, but can't find the information online. A little bit of loose skin doesn't matter too me, I just don't want it to be noticeable. And after it what if I gain weight, will the fat just fill in the loose skin?

Dear Lybrate reader let me be frank with you. All these online ads are just cheating and nothing more. Naive people like you eager to get rid of kilos fall prey to them. You can't do what you are thinking. The trouble with people is there is no seriousness in what they think and do--i will tell the right approach -- if you reduce your weight one kilogram a month, in a year it is 12 kilograms--that is fantastic, no loose skin, you can maintain perfect health. Sudden loss of weight even if you achieve by medication it is dangerous. You first understand normal metabolism and you can work out for decreasing weight by dietary changes, lifestyle changes without damaging your health. You must have scientific approach--not dangerous shortcut methods. You can consult me privately online if you want.
