Whether chronic begnine OKC at over mandible lower jaw bone will transform into cancerous cyst in future. The person male 53 now. He got trouble at wisdom teeth at 20 yes. It was removed. A cystic lesion formed. It is troubling once in a while by discharging fuss and dead material accumulated there I.E. Some bone loss occurred. Person has no serious other health problems.

Hello, Since OKC needs to be removed very carefully as it has tendency to regrow even after removal due to numerous daughter cyst and also it has proved tendency for malignant(cancerous) transformation. So it has to be definitely removed. Regards! Dr. Priyanshu Singh
