My wife is 43 years old. Her menstrual cycle is irregular and scanty. Last menstrual date was 19/12/2019. Next time menstrual came on 09/02/2020 and heavy in amount. Since then it is continue till today (23/02/2020) but amount is less. Normally her menstrual period last 3 to 4 days but first time it lasts for nearly 2 weeks. Pregnancy test is negative. Meanwhile I have consulted a gynaecologist (md) on 19/02/2020. She told us it is time of early menopause. She prescribed 2 medicines pansoft 40 and t-stat for 3 days to reduce heavy bleeding. After taking medicines for 3 days once again today (23/02/2020) a small amount of bleeding is coming out. According to my gynaecologist it is sign of monopose and not to worry. Is it normal or anything serious. Pls reply. Pep test, mammography and sonography taken 1 year back (feb 2019) were normal. Pls reply.
