Hi. I was taking multivitamin supplement before I got pregnant and until 5 week of pregnancy. It contains 3.300 iu vitamin a (retinyl acetate). I stopped taking it when I found out I am pregnant. I read that maximum, non toxic dose of vitamin a during pregnancy is 10.000 iu. Does it mean I don't have to worry? I know it causes damages to the fetus when the intake is too high. My 13 weeks and 20 weeks scans were fine. I would be grateful for answer.
