I am 22 years old now, I have been wearing spectacles since age of 13. At 13 my myopia was -1.5 for right and -1 for left eyesight. Currently it is -3.75 for right and -3 for left, it has been increasing since starting. Is it the case of pathological myopia or the normal one. Should I go for check up for pathological myopia and how much does it cost.

Myopia occurs when the eyeball is too long, relative to the focusing power of the cornea and lens of the eye. This causes light rays to focus at a point in front of the retina, rather than directly on its surface. Let's have a detailed discussion for better advice and medication plan.
