Hi. I am 23 weeks pregnant. I would like to supplement magnesium in order to prevent leg cramps and preterm labor. I bought magnesium supplement which contains magnesium citrate and magnesium hydroxide plus vitamin b6. I would like to know if magnesium hydroxide is safe during pregnancy. It is not possible to contact my doctor now because I am abroad. Thank you.

Magnesium is a normal supplement in most multivitamins. It should be fine.
