My ent doctor prescribed soliwax. I used for 2 days and on 3rd day I started having severe pain in my ear and the back portion of ear right through jaw and a bit of head. Now the doctor says he now discovered a hole in the ear and has changed the drops. But all those areas are still paining, what can be done? Read somewhere that soliwax should not be used when there is a hole, what would have happened and what can be done now?

Dear lybrate-user, please trust your doctor, afterall he/she had the wisdom to change the prescription on discovering a hole in your ear, so this was for your your own benefit. As far as the pain is concerned you should confide it with your doctor, remove all your apprehensions and your condition is not at all something alarming.
