Hi, Makhana or lotus seeds are rich in carbohydrates. You can dry roast them if are calorie conscious and add rock salt and black pepper to it. This snack can be consumed in midmornings or at supper. You can also grind them and use them as an effective binder for cooking tikkis, cheela, pakora etc.
