It is true that dental pain can occur coz of sinus problem. Decayed teeth or periodontal problems may cause pain too. Get a regular checkup with x-rays to rule out the options. Then, if it is coz of sinus, take medicines for cold. Ul be fine once u get cured of cold.

You have two options: get a second opinion ( consult another dentist to confirm if the pain is not of dental origion. Second if . First bit works , consult a general physician , he will most probably advice you to get a PNS View ( kind of x ray radiograph) to diagnose the problem. Hope it worked.
