Hi, My mother is 46 years old. She is frequently having boils on thighs and buttocks from the last one and a half year. From about the last 6 months, she is also having itchy legs and buttocks.

Hi, some of the common reasons for recurrent boils/furuncles is underlying bacterial infection and factors like diabetes, obesity, weak immunity and certain medication which decrease immunity increases the risk of problem. Try not to burst the boils and make sure proper hygiene is maintained. Please get the blood sugar levels checked for your mother.
