I am 25 years old male. My middle incisor teeth are broken. I have been suffering from pains for a few days. My teeth have broken more than halfway. The infection has spread in pulp and root. Now the doctor is asking me to do root canal treatment (rct). Now, if I do rct, then there will be some disadvantage in the future.

No rct is tried and tested method than a crown over it.

Hello, As explained by you its clear that the teeth are broken at a level in which your pulp is already involved and even infection have spread apically. So there is no other option except getting them root canal treated and capping after that. There will be no disadvantage of that. Thanks.

Hi Lybrate-User, Doctor who seen your case must be perfectly right .if he has suggested rct then it is perfectly ok. No problem after rct get crown done. I have not evaluated the tooth. I cannot say anything. I want to evaluate then I can say or see your radiographic image with clinical findings. Thanks.
