It all depends on how fit you were when you had your baby,You should take up exercise more gradually if you have had a cesarean, as the first 6 weeks go as a healing phase. Breastfeeding your baby may help you to lose weight, if you also eat healthily and walk for 10-15 min. Breastfeeding burns up to 330 calories a day. You may be feeling very tired, so don't do too much of exercise , too soon. Remember that your body needs time to recover from labour and birth.
