For roughly a week and a half now i've had inconsistent mild pain in the left side of my penis. This pain radiates into my left testicle about half the time if given long enough, and occasionally i'll feel tingling on the right side and right testicle. I'm unable to place exactly where this pain is coming from as it is internal and my penis is in no way tender to touch. When I walk the glans of my penis feels raw as if it's rubbing up against my jeans even though im uncircumcised and my foreskin is covering the glans. Again, there is no pain to touch. Lying down relieves the pain most of the time, as do hot baths. I've also been having trouble getting an erection and have been waking up without them in the morning whereas previous it was a daily occurrence. Also if I do get one I go flaccid again quite quickly. What can I do before I see the doctor?

Dear user. Penile pain could be due to infections or inflammation of the bladder or prostate can also result in penile pain. Trauma, persistent erection (priapism), cancers, and Peyronie's disease (the development of scar tissue within the penis) are other causes. Sickle cell anemia may cause priapism due to blockages of small blood vessels in the penis. I suggest you consult a doctor for physical investigation. Take care.
