I am 62 years old and living in Delhi . Every year at this time , i.E when the winter is about to leave I get throat infections , which is termed ' Allergic rhinitis ' by ENT doctors and it persists till summer . The symptoms are sore throat , mild fever , sometimes pleghm . I am already having it please help

Hello, During the time when one season changes to another , certain viruses get active in environment ,causing nose and throat infection in some individuals. Some persons are more susceptible to such attacks. Management includes bed rest , a simple analgesic like paracetamol ( OTC ) , lot of warm soothing liquids ( like tea ), antiallergics in some cases. Usually an attack is self limiting and lasts for about one week.
